Engineering Insurance can be broken down into the following two areas:
Employers need to ensure that they comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) to avoid potential prosecution from their local Enforcing Authority by having plant periodically examined.
In both instances cover normally excludes fire and the associated perils that are insured under your company's seperate fire policy.
Will allow customers to choose which items of plant and machinery they want to insure and select the cover that is most appropriate. The widest level of cover is Sudden and Unforeseen Damage.
