Property Owners

Whether you are a private landlord with a single property to let, or a professional investor with an extensive portfolio, RMCI can look after your insurance needs.

There are various covers to consider as an owner of a property which is rented out.

You will need to protect against:

  • property against material damage suffering losses such as fire, flood and storm.
  • your rental income
  • legal liabilities

A typical Property Owner Owners Combined policy includes:

  • Property Insurance - buildings, stock and contents against loss or damage as a result of fire, theft, or a range of other perils.
  • Property Owners Liability - legal liability to pay compensation for bodily injury, illness or disease, other than to employees, for loss of or damage to third party property arising from ownership of buildings.
  • Loss of Rent - loss of rent caused by an insured peril eg. Fire.
  • Employers Liability -  protects companies against damages and legal costs that arise as a result of claims from employees suffering an injury or disease due to and during their employment.  Employers Liability cover is a requirement under UK Law and companies failing to comply with government regulation are at risk of a fine.

Various packages are available along with extra covers such as cover for replacement locks and legal protection.
